The Belmont County Board of Developmental Disabilities believes in the potential that lies within every person. Guided by the principles of self-determination, we are helping people with disabilities achieve their
dreams. Whether it’s going to school, owning a home, or working in the community, people are being successful and gaining respect for who they are and what they are capable of achieving. Many barriers have been removed, but others remain, and that is why we are committed to encouraging respect for people with disabilities by removing negative stereotypes and sharing with others what people with disabilities CAN do.
